Compete in Engineering Competitions

Something that sets ASME apart is that you don’t just get to design and build projects—you get to put them to the test. Our members travel across the country to compete against other universities at the national ASME competition, gaining hands-on experience and learning how their designs perform in real-world challenges.

Build Your Resume

ASME at Iowa is a place to grow as both an engineer and a professional. Many of our members go on to secure competitive internships and full-time positions thanks to the experience, leadership, and connections they gain through the club. We regularly host company networking events, info sessions, and industry tours—giving members direct access to recruiters and the opportunity to build lasting relationships with top engineering organizations.
